You then take one estrogen tablet plus one norgestrel tablet every day from days 17 to 28, as marked on the pack. You then start the next pack without a break. In this case just leave out the forgotten dose and take your next dose as usual at your usual time. You may also experience spotting or breakthrough bleeding during the first few months of treatment. Women on HRT should have regular breast examinations and mammograms and should examine their own breasts regularly.
