After receiving two master degrees from USC, he worked as a consultant and corporate excecutive before launching Newport Beach based Olen Properties Corp. in 1973. His real estate holdings span about 6.4 million square feet in California, Nevada, Florida and Arizona. He is married to Jeanne Olenicoff. JOHN TU, worth $2.5 billion, has come a long way since cooking Chinese food in Germany.
