"They found some place to get out and then came to the hotel," Mr Da Costa told Fairfax Media. The chief of police of the Badung regency of Bali, Yudith Satriya Hananta, said the two remaining prisoners were still on the run.
"As the head of the investigation I can't conclude the internal investigation until I meet with them face to face," he said. Mr Pasaribu said patrols were now deployed inside and outside Kerobokan prison's walls to ensure there was not another underground escape.
